Capture and output
- Replay buffer: saved to a local MP4 when you use the configured save action.
- Resolution: Source, 1080p or 720p. Lower selections cap height while preserving the source aspect ratio.
- Frame rate: 30 or 60 FPS.
- Quality: Standard, High or Ultra.
- Format: H.264 video in MP4 output.
- Encoder choice: Auto, Hardware or Software. Auto tries supported NVIDIA NVENC, Intel Quick Sync and AMD AMF hardware encoders before the bounded software fallback.
A signed follow-up release is being prepared with flexible seconds/minutes replay duration, F8 as the default save shortcut and automatic game detection enabled by default. These corrected behaviours are not represented as part of the current 0.4.4 download.
Audio
The selected app's eligible audio can be captured with an optional microphone and selected additional apps. Volume controls are separate, and 0.4.4 can preserve separate audio tracks. Audio-source failures are designed to degrade without discarding otherwise usable video, but broad live game/device validation is not complete.
Library and editing
The local library can search, filter, favourite and sort clips, then open their folder. Editing can create a new trimmed or cropped MP4, add text, and control included audio while preserving the original file.
Storage
Clips, thumbnails, originals and edits stay on the device. Storage settings include a warning threshold and a choice between stopping when the configured limit is reached or deliberately replacing the oldest eligible clips. No fixed storage requirement is claimed because usage depends on replay length, resolution, frame rate, quality and how many clips you keep.
Verified requirements
- A 64-bit Windows PC; the published installer is the Windows x64 package.
- An eligible visible application window that appears in the app's source selector.
- A usable supported hardware H.264 encoder or the packaged software fallback.
- Enough local free space for the app and the clips you choose to retain.
No minimum GPU model, CPU tier or game compatibility matrix is published because those claims have not completed broad live validation. This is a statement about current testing coverage, not a claim that untested combinations fail.

The signed update manifest verifies update metadata and package bytes. It is not a Windows publisher signature for the setup executable.
Updates
The app can receive a signed release notice and show an update indicator. It does not automatically download or apply the update: both actions require user interaction. Package downloads support byte ranges and are checked against signed metadata.
Account and diagnostics
Sign-in is disabled in 0.4.4 pending provider registration. Recorded media is not uploaded. The app has bounded local diagnostic and optional usage-data queues, but no production telemetry destination is configured. See the Privacy Policy for the exact current and planned boundary.
